At Tirtha Wangi, all of our wooden products are professionally treated and fumigated before shipping. This process ensures that the wood is safe, clean, and compliant with international export standards.
If you still have concerns, we provide a Wood Declaration Certificate, complete with an official stamp. This document can be shown to customs officers at the airport or port if required. Many of our international customers have successfully brought our wooden crafts back to their countries without any issues.
Not all parts of timber are equally vulnerable to insects. Timber consists of two main sections: the outer wood and the inner wood (heartwood).
The outer wood is softer and more attractive to insects. In contrast, the inner wood (heartwood) is denser, stronger, and naturally more resistant to pests. This is the most important part of the timber and must be preserved properly.
